I haven't updated this since before the Memorial Day week-end so I have lots to fill you in on....In an effort not to bore you I'll just hit the highlights:
1. Got the puppies a wading pool and watched them splash and play....so cute!
2. Had my granddaughter Arielle and her boyfriend Adam over for a gourmet dinner to celebrate -- belatedly -- her birthday. I made stuffed pork tenderloin, cheese mashed potatoes, green salad with homemade buttermilk dressing, steamed vegetables, herb buttered bread sticks and cherry meringue crust pie. We had such a good time. They are such a cute couple and Arielle, who is always beautiful, looked particularly pretty in a red dress with a red flower in her hair.
3. Went to my new church Sunday morning and love it even more. I AM HOME! YIPPEEEE!
4. Monday the granddaughters had a bbq for their friends and Mom and I were invited....the old grannies.....we went and had a great time. I made another pie like the one I made for Arielle and some peanut butter and milk chocolate chip cookies so I ...who love to cook....did a lot of it this week-end.
5. Got a telephone call from our granddaugter in Mass..Katrina..she is doing wonderfully and we hope that she can come and visit us in Sept.
6. Also talked to Linda and Paul...they are all fine.
7. Even took some lazy time to read......and left alot of things UNDONE on my "To Do" list and...you know what???? I LIVED AND THE WORLD IS STILL TURNING IN ITS AXIS...so there! I am slowly learning not to be so driven.
